4.5mm Base Options & Notes:
- When selecting the 4.5mm base option in white, black, clear or frosted, it will come as a single 4.5mm base option. It is a budget option that also ensures that your sign stands upright + as straight as possible.
- When purchasing a colour (other than black, white, clear or frosted) with a 4.5mm base, you will be provided with our Luxe Base Option. This is a 4.5mm bottom plate with a coloured 3mm top plate. This will ensure that your sign stands upright + straight.
- Laser Blanks will always recommend the 4.5mm thick base option. It is very difficult for a sign to stand upright with only a 3mm base. The thicker base will ensure it stands as upright as possible.

Important information:
Please note that our acrylic bases are designed to fit with some freedom and are not intended to be a super snug fit. This intentional design allows for easy packing and assembly, ensuring convenience and flexibility. In most cases, the base will not be attached to the sign when lifted. Variations in acrylic thickness (up to +/- 10%) may result in a tighter fit in some cases, but this is not considered a product defect.
Acrylic can vary in thickness +/- 10%. This means that whilst 98% will be perfect, there is a small chance that the acrylic will not fit snuggly into the acrylic base. First and foremost remove your protective layers. If it is too thick simply use some sand paper to sand the base slot slightly to allow for a perfect fit. If it is slightly too thin, simply use a dob of glue or add a piece of clear vinyl to thicken out the acrylic sign. Standard clear vinyl such as Metamark M7 is what we recommend. It is 40 microns thick and will provide a tighter fit.
